PARTICIPANTS GALLERY - KIA WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY
I just recently finished teaching my first wildlife photography class at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. I'm proud to present the beautiful work of the participants.
I want to thank all the students for their creativity, humor, passion, and patience. It was particularly challenging for me figuring out how to extract and impart the knowledge and experience I've accumulated over the years. To be able to share some of that with such a talented group of people was a real pleasure and honor. And of course, they taught me too!
We had three outings, beginning with Binder Park Zoo, followed by the Wolf Lake Fish Hatchery, and then Portage Creek Bicentennial Trail.
Click on the first photo to begin an expanded slideshow of the photographs. Enjoy!

Video Workshop - Take Two!
The last time we offered this we had to cancel because of inclement weather. Well, this time around it's going to happen, come rain or shine. And we'd love to have you join us!

Binder Park Zoo
And then there's the Peacock...what can I say.
These were shot at Binder Park Zoo during a recent photo session with my wildlife photography class from the KIA.
I'll be posting a slideshow of their wonderful work next week.
